I can see if buffering (so data is coming in, quite quickly too for a tethered mobile connection), but it just doesn't play and all I et is thumbnails when I skip to different time positions. It must be something to do with the way the Plex Web app reports itself to the server (that is my thinking), because if I tether to my phone over Wifi and share the phones mobile data, I get the same result on the computer. It's can't be the Syno, because otherwise it wouldn't play to the mobile device on Original Quality. It is perplexing that essentially an inferior playback device with inferior connection (mobile phone over mobile data) is able to play back the video swiftly, and yet a fast Mac on Firefox with high-speed wired internet isn't capable of the same.
